Description
English: The Seal of Ciamis Regency is a four angle shield which means:

The upper center corner symbolizes: there must be an authority leader. The two left and right angles that are the same are located, symbolizing the ideals of the region which are just and prosperous. The three upper corners represent the minimum requirements for community welfare, namely: adequate food and clothing, security and conviction/trust.

The four corners of the shield symbolize the conditions for achieving prosperity according to the ancestors of the Indonesian citizen.
Bahasa Indonesia: Lambang kabupaten Ciamis adalah sebuah perisai bersudut empat yang artinya :

Sudut tengah atas melambangkan : harus ada pemimpin yang berkewibawaan. Kedua sudut kiri dan kanan yang sama tinggal letaknya, melambangkan cita-cita daerah ialah adil dan makmur. Ketiga sudut bagian atas melambangkan syarat minimum kesejahteraan masyarakat yaitu: sandang pangan yang cukup, keamanan dan keinsyafan/kepercayaan.

Keempat sudut perisai, melambangkan syarat untuk tercapainya kemakmuran menurut leluhur bangsa Indonesia.
