Description
Deutsch: Die Koppelschleuse liegt im Kanal Saint-Martin am Nordportal des Tunnels von der Place de la ‌Bastille. Für das Überwölben musste sie von Süden an diese Stelle verschoben werden.
Beide Kammern stehen auf der Höhe der anschließenden Kanalhaltung. Die Koppelschleusen verlängern durch eine zusätzliche Verholbewegung die Schleusenzeiten, doch wirken sie deutlich wassersparend.
