Description

A gauche "L’armure du dauphin" pour Henri d’Orléans, devenu roi de France sous le nom d’Henri II de 1547 à 1559. <a href="http://www.musee-armee.fr/collections/base-de-donnees-des-collections/objet/larmure-du-dauphin-attribuee-au-futur-henri-ii-1519-1559.html" rel="noreferrer nofollow">www.musee-armee.fr/collections/base-de-donnees-des-collec...</a>

A droite « L’ARMURE AUX LIONS » attribuée à François 1er De par sa symbolique léonine et ses proportions, "L’armure aux lions" a vraisemblablement appartenu à François Ier, qui mesurait 1, 98 m. Cet ensemble ne comporte ni mézail (protection du visage), ni défenses de jambes. Il s’agit d’une armure de parade exaltant la dimension héroïque du monarque.
