Description

Altstadt - Petrikirchhof

The St. Petrikirche zu Lübeck is a place of worship, which was first mentioned in 1170. In the course of the centuries it was extended several times until it was finished in the 15th century. In the Second World War, it suffered severe damage and was only completely restored in 1987. Since the interiors were not restored, there were no more worship services. Instead it is used for cultural and religious events as well as art exhibitions.
