Description : L'oratoire Saint-Joseph est la plus grande église du Canada. Cette église catholique est située sur le versant nord-ouest du mont Royal dans l'arrondissement Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, à Montréal. Le site propose aux pèlerins plusieurs éléments : une chapelle, une crypte, le tombeau de saint André (frère André), un jardin avec un chemin de croix grandeur nature. Mais le symbole le plus connu, c’est la basilique surmontée d’un dôme aux dimensions impressionnantes avec ses 60 m de hauteur interne, ses 39 m de diamètre et sa croix, point culminant de Montréal, atteint 300 m. C’est le troisième plus grand oratoire au monde. Ce lieu de pèlerinage, initié par le frère André en 1904, est le plus important dédié à saint Joseph à travers le monde.
