Italiano: simbolo della Divina Sapienza tra due leoni, che rimandono al trono di Salomone. La Giustizia regge con la destrala spada e porta con la sinistra la bilancia. San Michele sorregge la bilancia e trasfigghe il drago. L'angelo guerriero e difensore della chiesa - nella sua duplice funzione di pesatore di anime e di combattente contra il drago, simbolo di Satana.

É evidente l'identificazione della Giustizia con Venezia, rappresentata anche nel rilievo sula faciata ouest di Palazzo Ducale. L'importante commissione mostra 'influenza di Gentile da Fabriano. La cornice presenta sull'estrema destra lo stemma di Tommaso Mocenigo, doge 1414-1423]]
