Description

Bâtiment annexe de l'église du Sacré Cœur de Jésus

L’Église du Sacré Cœur de Jésus, située dans le Boulevard Sud (ville tamoule), Subbayah Salai, est une église néo-gothique blanche et brune. Elle fut construite par les missionnaires français dans les années 1700. C’est l’une des plus belles églises catholiques de Pondichéry. Elle renferme de beaux vitraux et des tableaux décrivant les événements de la vie de Jésus Christ.
