Kyteler Slab

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Joseph Kyteler's slab at St. Canice's Cathedral. Joseph Kyteler was a wealthy merchant and the alleged witch Alice Kyteler's father. The slab was (according to the guide sheet in the cathedral) found outside Kyteler's Inn and transferred to St. Canice's Cathedral for safe keeping. (The family would have attended St. Mary's Church in their day, though.) According to John Bradley, it was moved from St Mary's Church to St Canice's Cathedral in 1952[1].
