In the article by Holt N. Parker the exterior of the cup is unattributed. The date in this is given as 525–500 BCE. Elsewhere it has been attributed to the Manner of Epeleios Painter. It has been attributed in this work; Johnson, Jared Alan, "The Greek Youthening: Assessing the Iconographic Changes within Courtship during the Late Archaic Period."
