| Description |
English: The new Swedish king Carl XVI Gustaf inaugurates the Turbine house as a museum at a stop during his ”Eriksgata”, which is a tour of Sweden to make his election confirmed by the local assemblies. The king opens the water intake, the turbine starts and the generator lights up the lamps in the museum.
Svenska: Det nyrenoverade museala turbinhuset invigdes den 17 juni 1974 av Kung Carl XVI Gustaf, i samband med ett besök till Västerås under kungens eriksgata. Han invigde turbinhuset genom att vrida på ratten som öppnade vattenintaget till turbinen. Generatorn började generera ström och lamporna i turbinhuset tändes. Kungen följdes av värdar och ett stort uppbåd med fotografer. |
