Bildtext: "Krum-lur ifrån Wärend." Text: "Luren, Wall-luren är en mera utvecklad form af samma instrument, och består af ett långt rör af träd, lindadt med näfver. Är luren rak och stackot (ɔ: kort), d. v. s. af två till tre fots längd, så får han i Wärend namn af stack-lur. Fyra till fem fot lång heter han rak-lur. Är han deremot lagd i krök, för att åt röret gifva ännu större längd, heter han i Wärends-målet krum-lur eller krok-lur. Luren blir förnämligast använd i skogen, på samma sätt som hornet. Han blir dock äfven brukad såsom bya-horn, och i byn Bästerna, af Slätthög socken, brukar åldermannen än i dag tuta ihop byalaget genom tutning i en kroklur." |
