Description
Deutsch: Das Kriegerdenkmal in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. 1922 wurden die ersten Tafeln errichtet. 1927 wurden die beiden Gussstatuen von Johann Wirtenberger aus Absam von der Firma Knitel in Innsbruck gegossen. Die Statuen stellen einen Infanteristen mit erhobenen Gewehr und einen Kaiserschützen dar. Die beiden Tafeln mit den Namen der Gefallenen befinden sich 2016 in Nischen beiderseits des Stiegenaufgangs zur Pfarrkirche. Am direkt angrenzenden Nachbarhaus befinden sich Malereien eines Soldaten, der Brot von einer Frau mit Kindern erbittet und von Tauben auf dem Sims.
