Summary
[edit]DescriptionKoroni or Chata script sample.jpg |
English: Koroni or Karani script (also Chata script) is an established writing system in the pre-Independence Orissa (Odisha) region in South Asia. The writing system was primarily used by the Korono/Karana people who were working for documentation in the royal courts. The name Koroni/Karani is derived from Koroni/Karani, a metal stylus that was used for writing on palm leaf and then on paper. |
