Description

Damyang is synonymous for bamboo in Korea. This small town near Gwangju has a variety of bamboo forests and is home to the country?s bamboo handicraft production.

Home to the Bamboo Museum of Korea were you can discover the multiple uses of bamboo, its by-products as well as many items made from bamboo.
