Summary
[edit]DescriptionKorail Heater Car - Flickr - skinnylawyer.jpg |
In the 1960s, non-air-conditioned cars needed a way of heating the cabin for passenger comfort. Korail used this heater car, with the diesel boiler on board, to produce steam necessary for heating the passenger cars. All Korail trains are climate controlled today, rendering dedicated heater cars unnecessary. |
