Summary
[edit]DescriptionKongmaru La Pass View (49043449806).jpg |
Kang Yatze from Kongmaru La (aka Konmaru La) on Markha Valley trek. We trekked from Yurutse over GandaLa Pass to Shingo. GandaLa Pass is 4,960 meters (16,270 ft) above sea level. The top of the pass is at a saddle and I wanted to get to the highest point so we hiked up the shoulder only to find undulating rising hills that probably stretched for at least another five miles and ended in snow-capped peaks. After a series of three rises, we stopped, rested and took these photos of the spectacular mountains around us. Photo credit: Sonam Gyalson IMG_20180711_093921 |
