Summary
[edit]DescriptionKnowsthorpe Crescent Railway Bridge HUE6 - geograph.org.uk - 1600480.jpg |
English: Knowsthorpe Crescent Railway Bridge HUE6 The bridge was re-decked and widened in 2007/08 as part of the East Leeds Radial highway scheme to link the Inner Ring Road with the M1 Motorway at Junction 45. The deck consists of prestressed beams composite with a reinforced concrete slab. High containment parapets prevent vehicles falling onto the railway line below. Engineering design was carried out by Leeds City Council Bridges Section. |
