Description
English: Knighton railway station, Shropshire.

Opened in 1861 by the Knighton Railway, soon to be part of the London & North Western Railway empire, and on what became today's line from Swansea to Craven Arms and Shrewsbury.

View west towards Knucklas (and Swansea). The station appears to have been tidied up in the 41 years since Knighton station - geograph.org.uk - 477511.jpg was taken. It lies a few metres into Shropshire while the town is in Powys, Wales.
