日本語: 桐の間の欄間には、藤の間の舞台扉と同じく截金の装飾が施されています。作品名は「日月(にちげつ)」です。太陽と月という二つのモチーフは光の方向によって異なる表情を見せます。
English: Like the stage doors in Fuji-no-Ma, the ranma (transom) of Kiri no Ma is ornamented using kirikane technique. The name of this piece is Nichigetsu (Sun/Moon), and the dual motif is laid out to present a different aspect depending on the direction of the light. |
