| Description |
Deutsch: Kirchroth, Dekan-Seitz-Straße 5. Katholische Pfarrkirche St. Vitus, errichtet in der Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts. Eingezogener Chor mit einem Joch und dreiseitigem Schluss. Der Hochaltar stammt aus dem Jahre 1653. Zwei Kandelabersäulen flankieren die Mittelnische mit der geschnitzten Figur des Kirchenpatrons St. Vitus. Die Seitenfiguren zeigen St. Bernhard und St. Scholastika. Der Altar wurde in neuerer Zeit aus dem Kloster Mariazell erworben, was die Figur der hl. Scholastika erklärt. |
