DescriptionKings Hall 1914 006.jpg |
Postcard photograph of the King's Hall, Herne Bay, Kent, England. Undated, with an illegible postmark; however the letter on the back mentioning conscription implies a posted date of 1914 or 1915. It was called the Pavilion or Bandstand before it was extended underground and re-named in 1913. The costumes and style of postcard suggest a date before 1914, and the printed name, "Pavilion" implies a date before 1913 when it was re-named the King Edward VII Memorial Hall. Published by Tuck.
