Mary Poppins and Bert .. My miracle shot !! LOL Explored # 146- There is a funny story behind this shot !! I was coming from Big Thunder Ranch when I turned the corner and saw Mary Poppins on the carrousel !! I had never seen her on it before and couldn't remember ever seeing a picture of her there ! I was a good 40 yards from her when I began my mad dash thru the crowds. I I'm sure everyone thought I was NUTS ! All I had time for was to hope I had the right lens on and all the right settings. I wasn't sure what settings I had, so I set it on auto, made sure the flash was charged and pushed thru the crowd to shoot this ONE photo. Luckily Mary saw me and gave me a nice look ! The carrousel stopped on the other side so I didn't get a second chance ! I was so happy and lucky that this one turned out well !! It has been modified to obscure brands and the faces of guests, for upload to Wikimedia Commons, to illustrate the King Arthur Carrousel article |
