Description

Stained glass in Church of St Thomas the Apostle, Killinghall, North Yorkshire, England. Church completed in 1880, by architect William Swinden Barber.

The west window, consisting of two sets of two lights. The rose light in the right-hand window has the Star of David, and the rose in the left-hand window has the IHS symbol, derived originally from the first three letters of Jesus' name in ancient Greek, but usually translated as "Christ the Redeemer". The stained glass was made by Cox and Son, and paid for by the rector of Ripley, Reverend T.C. Thompson.
