English: Killeen Castle, Co Meath Killeen Castle, the former home of the Lord of Fingall, was damaged by fire in 1981. It has been restored and is now an exclusive Country Club and hotel, especially for golfers. The original castle was built in 1181, but what can be seen today is a Victorian era rebuild, using some of the original material. |
