Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Kershaw-Moultray Building originally comprised the two bays on the left as well as a single bay that wrapped around the adjacent White Front Building facing Holly Street. Designed by William Cox and built in the early 1900s by state fishery commissioner Tunas R. Kershaw (his actual name) and shingle manufacturer William Moultray, it was originally occupied by the Leader department store, with the Commercial Street entrance later being relinquished for use by the post office where it remained until completion of the new federal building in 1913. The two bays on the right were added c.1906 and were first occupied by the Battersby Bros. Shoe store.
