Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Women are the backbone of agriculture in Kenya. Most stores in the local fresh produce markets are operated by women. They play a huge role by providing the general population with healthy diet hence ensuring a healthy society while earning a modest income to support themselves and their families. women in Kenya are disadvantaged when it comes to finding work,so selling food products in the market acts as a form of self employment.
