| Description |
English: Kenwood Avenue, London N14 taken 1964. The differences that immediately come to mind when I look at this photograph are that there were many more cherry trees at that time. Also note the hedge on the right encasing the large garden of the end house. Another house has since been built on this area, and also although you cannot see the left hand side, the same thing has happened there. Looking to the horizon there are many more trees and far fewer buildings. We now have new lamp posts and there are more cars.
Just to the right of the cherry tree on the right on the horizon you can see the water tower that was demolished many years ago. 781837 looks in the same direction in April 2008. |
