The training provided the opportunity for the Royal Thai and U.S. to implement techniques and procedures learned throughout the week including maneuvering under fire, conducting small arms, artillery and machine gun fire. Cobra Gold is an annual Thai and U.S. co-hosted multinational exercise designed to advance security throughout the Asia-Pacific region and increase interoperability with participating nations.
