Description
Nederlands: Kees de veerman. In 2015 vanuit de ouderensoos verplaatst naar de nieuwe plaats aan de Lekdijk bij 164. Onthuld op 19 september 2015. Tekst op het kunstwerk: Cornelis Ooms, Geb.: 15 Dec. 1904, Plaats: Streefkerk. Bijnaam: Kees de Veerman, Veerman van 1932 t/m 1964. Beeldhouwer: Ton Koops Giessen N.B. Anno 1975.

Op tweede plaquette:
Hier de beelt'nis van een man
Die lange reeks van jaren
De mensen over bracht
Nu zal hij niet meer varen
Het veer is nu verdwenen
Tot ongerief van velen
Maar kees de veerman blijft
