Kayseri Atatürk Müzesi

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Built in the 19th century, this ‘Imamzade Raşit Ağa Konağı’ (Mansion of Landlord Raşit Imamzade) became the ‘Atatürk Müzesi’ because Mustafa Kemal Paşa stayed two nights in this house on 19-20 December 1919. The museum (ground floor) opened in 1983 as ‘Atatürk Evi’ (House), and became ‘Atatürk Müzesi’ in 1998, when the restored second floor became accessible to the public too.
