Description
English: In this fashion plate , the woman on the left wears a crêpe bonnet ornamented with roses, an amber necklace, a white gown trimmed with crêpe, flowers, and ribbons, an embroidered yellow silk shawl, white gloves, and white sandals. The woman on the right wears a coiffure" à la Ninon" decorated with pearls, a cashmere gown, an apple-green shawl, white gloves, and white sandals . A similar cashmere gown survives in the Musée historique des Tissus, Lyon.
