Description
Deutsch: Torso des zentralen Standbilds des Brandenburger Markgrafen und Kürfürsten Kaiser Karl IV. (1316–1378) aus der Denkmalgruppe 13 der ehemaligen Berliner Siegesallee. Der Kopf ist verschollen. Bildhauer: Ludwig Cauer, die Gruppe wurde am 26. August 1899 enthüllt. Hier in der Zitadelle Spandau im August 2009, vor der Restaurierung.
English: Torso of the central statue commemorating Brandenburg’s Margrave and Elector en:Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor (1316–1378) of the monument group № 13 in the former Siegesallee in Berlin. The head is lost. Sculptor: Ludwig Cauer. The sculpture was unveiled on 26 August 1899. Shown here in the Spandau Citadel in August 2009, before its conservation-restoration.
