Description
English: Detail (photoengraved portrait) of the commemorative plaque to Mrs. Sára Karig (1914–1999) Hungarian writer, poet and literary editor, rescuer during the WWII, “Righteous Among the Nations”, political prisoner in the Soviet Union from 1947 to 1953. The plate made by György Szám was affixed to the front of the house where she lived and unveiled on August 31, 2024. (Budapest District IV, Klára Street 39)
Français : Détail (portrait photogravé) de la plaque commémorative à Mme Sára Karig (1914–1999) poétesse, traductrice et éditeuse littéraire hongroise, sauveteuse pendant la deuxième guerre mondiale, « Juste parmi les nations », prisonnière politique en Union soviétique de 1947 à 1953.
