Description
Deutsch: Der hl. Philipp Neri (1515-1595) ist ein bei den Jugendlichen und den Römern sehr beliebter Priester

Auch die Familie Pamphili, die Erbauer von Sant Agnese in Agone hatte viele Beziehungen zu Philipp Neri und zu dem von ihm gegründeten Oratorianerorden. Daher wurde beschlossen, ihm in S. Agnese eine Kapelle zu widmen.

Im Inneren eines Tabernakels, der die Form eines Tempelchens hat und auf dem Altar steht, ließ Papst Pius X das Haupt der hl. Agnes verwahren.
