English: Kanum Monastery

Kanum Monastery is 12 century Monastery belonging to Drukpa sect of Vajrayana Buddhism. It houses idol of Avalokiteshwara.

(Inset) The monastery has evidence of a Hungarian Scholar and explorer, *Alexander Csoma de Körös (1784-1842) working there. The monastery is located in Himachal Pradesh, India
