Michael Foale (out of frame), mission commander and NASA ISS science officer, and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Pedro Duque (out of frame) of Spain. The trio was launched on a Soyuz TMA-3 vehicle to the International Space Station (ISS), arriving on October 20, 2003. Kaleri represents Rosaviakosmos. |
