Artist's rendring of launch of Artemis 1

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The following artist rendering shows NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft lifting off from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Pad 39B for the Artemis I mission -- an uncrewed test flight that will provide a foundation for human deep space exploration. Under the Artemis program, NASA will launch the first woman and next man to the lunar surface, using the Moon as a testing ground before venturing on to Mars.
