| Description | A recent photo of the entrance area of a former command post from World War II. The small bunker with two machine gun positions is located between the entrance to the Gonzen mine and an industrial cavern of Espros, about 70 m above the Vilderstrasse. A steep footpath leads up to this only access. The facility is fully equipped and can be visited. It is caretaken by the Artillery Fort Verein Magletsch. Indoor photos from 2013 are in the album „Swiss Army Bunker and Facilities“ after this photo. Switzerland, March 2, 2021. |
