Koimbani est une ville située au centre-est de la Grande comore, le chef lieu de la région de Oichili. son histoire est souvent collée à celle du poète, roi et philosophe Mbaé Trambwé et qui a existé selon des études archélogiques au XVIII e siècle de l'ère chrétienne. Mbaé Trambwé qui, à Koimbani a laissé des traces arcitecturales notamment son palais royal (Dari ya yezi) c'est à dire le "palais du pouvoir" mais surtout une pensée originale à lui-même philosophique et artistique. Ses proverbes, comme ses citations demeurent pour les Comoriens un appui authentique auquel ils font recours pour être le plus éloquent et donc persuasif possible dans leurs discours. Le palais Mbaé Trambwé est malheureusement en état de délabrement et vit sous une menace permanente de se voir effondré. Rien n'empêche les bonnes volontés d'aider à ce que ce site soit maintenu encore pour une durée élevée, ne serait-ceque pour perpétuer cette séquence de l'Histoire d'un homme présent dans les esprits des Comoriens mais aussi pour faire de l'Histoire un moyen de porter aide à tout monument de cette envergure. |
