Goldwater Range, Ariz., April 8 near Marine Corps Air Station Yuma. During the flight, students must show proficiency in defense and evasive tactics against an enemy aircraft. The operation is part of a two-month advanced aviation training course, Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course 2-13. WTI is a two-month advanced aviation training course held at Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One aboard MCAS Yuma that provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications that support Marine aviation training and readiness. |
