Latina: Latin text: "Florentius, comes Hollandie, universis presentes literas inspecturis salutem. Noverit uuiversitas vestra, quod nos homines, manentes apud Amestelledamme, in restitutionem damnorum, que nos et homines nostri ipsis fecimus, abhinc deinceps ab omni exaclione nostri telonii cum bonis suis propriis, que deduceid seu eleclueunt per totam terram nostram, duximus eximendos. In cujus rei testimonium presens scriptum sigillo nosiro fecimus communiri. Datum apud Leyden Dominica ante diem Symonis et Jude apostolorum, anno Domini MCC… ducentesimo septuagesimo quirdo."
English: Translated text from Latin to English: "Florentius, count of Holland, greets all the present letters of inspection. Let your honor know that we men, remaining at Amestelledamme, in restitution for the damages which we and our men have done to ourselves, have heretofore taken to be exempted from all the exaction of our tribute with their own goods, which we have brought or have taken away throughout our land. In witness whereof we have caused the present writing to be communicated under our seal. Given at Leyden on Sunday before the day of Simon and Jude the apostles, in the year of the Lord 100... the two hundred and seventieth quird."
