Lage: Sarmenstorf, Murimooshau

Aufnahmedatum: 1927

Zeitgenössische Beschriftung: Die Ausgräber, von links nach rechts: "Jos. Stutz, Köchli, Victor Stutz, Widmer, Saxer, Bosch".

Ausgrabung: Mit Hilfe von 6 Arbeitern begann Reinhold Bosch am 6. Juni 1927 mit der Freilegung der römischen Baureste. Die Ausgrabung und die unmittelbar daran anschliessende Teilkonservierung dauerte bis Ende August 1927. Im Juni 1929 wurde dann die römische Badeanlage restauriert und konserviert.

Datierung des Befundes: Die Keramikreste und andere Kleinfunde lassen vermuten, dass diese Anlage um die Mitte des 1.Jh. erbaut, im 2.Jh. durch das Bad erweitert und noch vor 200 durch Brand zerstört worden ist."
