Description
Deutsch: Im Jürgehus in Küsnacht wurde 1529 die erste Schule von Küsnacht untergebracht. Das Gebäude wurde bei der Überschwemmung von 1778 zerstört und musste ca. 1780 durch den heute erhaltenen Bau ersetzt werden. Nach der letzten Renovation wurde die steinerne Gedenktafel entfernt und eine Stele mit einem Wegweiser zur wenige Schritte daneben liegenden reformierten Kirche aufgestellt.
English: The first school in Küsnacht was housed in the Jürgehus in Küsnacht in 1529. The building was destroyed in the flood of 1778 and had to be replaced around 1780 by the building that still stands today. After the last renovation, the stone memorial plaque was removed and a stele with a signpost to the Reformed church a few steps away was erected.
