Description

(Indre By) Churchillparken The Gefion Fountain is a large fountain on the harbour front. It features a large-scale group of animal figures being driven by the Norse goddess Gefjun. It is the largest monument in Copenhagen and used as a wishing well. Artist: Anders Bundgaard 1897-99.

The fountain was first activated in July 1908.
