Butler, Marine Corps Installations Pacific. During the course, Marines and sailors were required to navigate the harsh jungle environment as well as man-made obstacles in the heat and humidity of Okinawa. Hiraldo is a Brooklyn, New York, native and mortarman with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, which is currently assigned to 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
