Description
English: Original caption: Post-recovery (at off-site storage), car # 1079, underside of floor assembly component (inverted, with the underside facing up), which is a segment of the carbody that contains the front service side doors, which is located immediately aft of the ‘end under-frame’ assembly at the lead-end of the car, which contains the center-pin element (for attachment of the truck assembly to the carbody), with the image depicting a hole in the leading face of the center-pin element.
