Summary
[edit]DescriptionJunction of Gallowtree Gate and Halford Street - geograph.org.uk - 959439.jpg |
English: Junction of Gallowtree Gate and Halford Street, near to Leicester, Great Britain.
Viewed as it was in 1981. Leicester City 21, a Leyland Titan PD3 turns into Halford Street. Of the buildings in the background, the two on the left are still in place. The building completely behind the bus is also still there. However, the next two have been replaced by a single building. The building beyond remains. The signwriting on the side of the building below the chimney, top right of centre, reads Robin Hood Bass so presumably this was a public house at some time. |
