Deutsch: Das repräsentative, ganzfigurige Bildnis der Juliane zu Schaumburg-Lippe (1761-1799) in Lebensgröße führt die junge Fürstin als Liebhaberin der Musik vor. In einem Innenraum vor einem Klavier stützt sie sich auf die Lehne eines Armlehnsessels und hält ein Notenheft in der rechten Hand. Sie posiert in einem eleganten Galakleid aus grüner Seide mit rosafarbener Miederschleife und gleichfarbiger Schärpe. Ebenso wie die Robe entspricht auch die hochtoupierte Frisur mit dem reichen Kopfschmuck aus Kunstblumen und Seidenschleier und den einzelnen, auf die Schultern fallenden Locken dem französischen höfischen Stil des Ancien Régime. Bei der mit Pilastern und Stuckreliefs verzierten Wandnische und der Draperie griff Tischbein d. Ä. auf konventionelle Requisiten fürstlicher Repräsentationsporträts zurück. Das Bildnis wird – wie viele Gemälde Tischbeins im Spätwerk der 1780er Jahre – von einer gedämpften warmen Farbskala aus Braunrottönen bestimmt, denen komplementär ein kräftiges Grün entgegengesetzt ist. |
