| Description |
English: Jugglers Moor, Stanswood Jugglers Moor is an area of grassland in a valley between Stanswood and Calshot. It is part of the North Solent SSSI, and was cleared of scrub in the late 1980s and mid-1990s. It is (approximately) 1 metre above sea level and is drained by a network of ditches. The Solent end of the valley (at Bourne Gap) is cut off by a gravel bank thrown up by a storm many years ago. This grassland would have once been a tidal inlet. |
