Description
English: Nr 76 of the "Journal de Bruxelles" during the French revolutionary republic occupation of Brussels in 1799. The French republican date is: Sextidi 16 Frimaire VIII (Saturday 7 December 1799). This journal contains many dispatches with news all over Europe. Page 602 and 603. There is an declaration whereby certain priest satisfying the conditions will be released. The French corvette l'Enfant prodigue has been struck with yellow fever after a visit to Saint-Domingue (Haiti) and 200 sailors died on the ship during the crossing to France. A quarantine has been imposed. The french blame te Americans for the disease in Saint-Domingue.
